In 2017 Image Engineering partnered with the LA Lakers to create a new element for their well-known pre-game show and player introductions.

What was designed was a custom laser system fitting of a world class team. The engineers at Image expanded on their original Vector Beam linear laser array, increasing beam power to 3w each and the ability to scan each aperture individually. This is the first and only installation of it’s kind in the world; with (48) Vector Beam Gen 2s in the rig this is one of the most powerful installations with over 1400w of laser power. It is undeniably one of the most unique laser installations and is fitting for the iconic LA Lakers.
