John is the oldest of the Suehle brothers, originally sparking the family’s interest in lasers and special effects in their back yard. From a young age, John has been building lasers out of whatever he could find. Originally, John started by modifying surplus medical lasers into units suitable for shows.  Now, John holds a Ph.D in electrical engineering and designs some of the best lasers currently on the market. Having spent a majority of his career with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, John has retired and joined the Image team full time to lead the Light Vector Lasers in pushing the boundaries of current laser technology.
